Plaza da Quintana

A public square surrounded by beautiful old buildings.
The square is 50m x 60m in size. It is surrounded by a cathedral, convent and civil buildings with art galleries, bars (with terraces), shops and restaurants.
What Makes Quintana Square a Great Place?
It is only accessible by foot, from the small side streets, which makes it surprising scenery. The ground and walls are made of natural stone.
The square has a wonderful wide staircase to sit on, and its measurements make it ideal for kids to play within the sight of their parents.
Pilgrims come here to enter into the cathedral. People sit on staircase to contemplate the cathedral's tower.
Both locals and visitors come to see the square and cathedral. There are lots of concerts, and public acts like political meetings, medieval markets and so forth.
