Parcel or parcels of land adjacent to the Gowanus Canal

My project idea is...

Create a man-made wetland with raised wooden walkway on a parcel adjacent to the Gowanus Canal

So that people could... 

learn the importance of wetland conservation in the role of purifying water, help to purify the Gowanus Canal and bring an education center to the Canal. The wetlands will eventually attract birds and other wetland species so environmental studies will be possible.
