My project idea is...

to spruce up the Windsor Terrace Library exterior, by cleaning the sad, dirty brick-face and landscaping not just the flagpole circle, but the front entrance area.

So that people could... 

...feel joyful every time they enter this central hub of our community. When something looks beautiful and welcoming, people are more likely to visit it and feel good about their experience.

Get a large dumpster outside of PS 130 so that school garbage is not left out on the street. It is often there for several days and attracts rats and other animals.

A dog park at an un-utilized section of Greenwood Playground. It's shady but needs adequate fencing, benches for owners, natural wood from recycled pruning, and doggie pools. Name it for Sean Casey.

Provide garbage recepticals, not plastic bags, for containing food debris outside the public schools so that garbage is not strewn throughout our streets which provide meals for vermin everyday.

Corner of East 5th street and Fort Hamilton Parkway (outside of P.S. 130), 0.02 Kms

Put astroturf on the field at the corner of E. 5th St. and Ft Hamilton Pkwy. This yard is heavily used for sports. Astroturf would make it a more ideal place to play and does not require maintenance.
