Entrance to F & G at Ft Hamilton Pkway

My project idea is...

Get rid of and prevent pigeons from roosting in the overpass to the subway entrance on south side of F & G at Ft Hamilton. The are unsanitary, smell and make a mess.

So that people could... 

Not have to dodge pigeon excrement on their way to the subway.

A dog park at an un-utilized section of Greenwood Playground. It's shady but needs adequate fencing, benches for owners, natural wood from recycled pruning, and doggie pools. Name it for Sean Casey.

East 5th Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway, 0.04 Kms

Put astroturf on the field at the corner of E. 5th St. and Ft Hamilton Pkwy. This yard is heavily used for sports. Astroturf would make it a more ideal place to play and does not require maintenance.

Get a large dumpster outside of PS 130 so that school garbage is not left out on the street. It is often there for several days and attracts rats and other animals.

Spruce up open field next to Greenwood Playground. Used for softball and cricket and could look nicer - some ideas include better lighting, track painted on floor, soccer field, exercise equipment...
