7th Ave and 9th St Station

My project idea is...

Handicap access at 7th and 9th St station. The closest on the F line are Jay St and Church Ave. The hospital is nearby, the many women I see having to haul strollers and disabled need better access!

So that people could... 

Encourage the use of public transport more often, bring more people to the area and help businesses along 7th and 5th aves. It will help with bringing public transport in NYC to be up to par with other major cities that are handicap accessible

Improve lighting at corner of 7th Ave & 9th St because the intersecting 2-way streets are wide, cars take the turns fast, and presently it's hard to see them coming at night.

Repair/replace the tile work in the subway station for the F train at 7th Avenue and 9th Street. It appears to be water damaged. It would be great if the repair project could include public art.
