MS 447 is a small middle school with over 500 students. It is one of the few middle schools in the borough with a NEST program serving students with autism in mainstream classrooms. The curriculum also encourages research and exploration in science and math, preparing students for more advanced work in these vital areas. Without a library, students have no opportunity to build these valuable research skills.
