My project idea is...

I would like our parking lot at Brooklyn Prospect to be transformed into a green/athletic field

So that people could... 

play the school athletics on the field during practice and also so that during recess the students could play on the field for sports and the others can run around.

My idea is to solarize as many homes on 17th street as possible combined with other energy saving measures; such as insulating windows, planting trees to block sunlight from windows etc.

to coat as many roofs as possible in District 39 with a highly reflective heat reducing coating. This would not only save energy costs but also reduce the "Urban Heat Island Effect".

Provide traffic calming measures on Caton Avenue between Ocean Parkway and Coney Island Avenue. There are a couple of road curves here and the cars and trucks travel at very high speeds.
