My idea to improve this place

A grocery store.

So that people could... 

...can live in Downtown, South Town, and King William, without having to drive out of the area to grab the essentials.

Because I want San Antonio to be...

A place where people live and work, not just simply work. Downtown should be alive and vibrant, not simply between the hours of 9 and 5, when there is a major convention in town. The urban characteristics of downtown should cater to the local communities and culture. If we as a city can focus on developing downtown as a central node of San Antonio life for local residents we will only reinforce the rich cultural traditions that make San Antonio a great place to visit.

Limit power of the Historic and Design Review Commission to allow developers to build glass/steel structures along side historic buildings that are actually worth keeping. Think NYC in terms of style

Annual Texas Food Truck Festival. Food trucks would line up along Commerce (Alamo to Main Plaza) , accompanied by live music and children's activities. San Antonians love a good festival!
