Placemaking Week has officially begun! Hosted by the beautiful city of Vancouver, this first-of-its-kind international gathering has brought together 1500+ activists, planners, academics, and practitioners from around the world to share ideas about how to create livable, inclusive, and people-centered places for everyone.
After a successful first three days of trainings, tours, and mobile workshops, the Pro Walk/Pro Bike/Pro Place conference is well underway, and today we welcome more placemakers into the fold with the start of the Placemaking Leadership Forum. Follow the action on Twitter (#PlacemakingWeek and #WalkBikePlaces), and be sure to tune into the Conference Livestream for coverage of the Forum, which will be located on the event's website, here.
We can't get enough of this fun, creative, and passionate crew, and we're looking forward to finding even more inspiration in the days to come. Stay tuned for more updates, and check out what some others are saying about the conference here and here!
