Using recommendations and ideas from a series of focus groups, Placemaking workshops, and stakeholder interviews conducted from June, 2012 to November, 2012, PPS has developed an initial report outlining a "Lighter, Quicker, Cheaper" strategy to activate the New Haven Green and build local support for its long-term transformation into a hub of community life.
PPS is working with the Proprietors and the City of New Haven to initiate changes at the Green, but the power to realize the vision for this space lies with the people who live, work, study and play there. We invite all of you to join the discussion by downloading the report and sharing your feedback in the comments section below, or by emailing CHass@newhavenct.net.
Please submit your comments by Monday, January 7th, 2013 if you want them to be considered in the revisions to the report. We look forward to hearing from you!
