Last week, Vancouver hosted the very first Placemaking Week, featuring Pro Walk / Pro Bike / Pro Place and the Placemaking Leadership Forum conferences, as well as a wealth of tours, talks and parties.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make #PlacemakingWeek a week to remember. Our presenters, partners, sponsors, and volunteers—and of course our 1,500+ attendees (from 45 states and 29 countries)—all helped make the event productive, fun, and inspiring. We can’t wait to begin translating all of this new knowledge into our local placemaking work.
