Temishi supports the Projects Team on community driven public space projects across design, community engagement, and implementation.
She previously worked as a Planning and Design Coordinator for Isenberg Projects, a Boston-based urban planning consultancy specializing in place-based work. There, the work of creating collectively built public spaces captivated her. Prior to that, Temishi’s interest and study of the built environment and her experience in arts and design nonprofits led her to seek out work that impacted the way people interact with shared spaces. Temishi graduated from Vassar College in 2021 with a B.A. in Studio Art and a minor in Urban Studies.
In her spare time, Temishi loves to read, try her hand at craft projects, and explore new places.
Favorite Public Space
“One of my favorite public spaces is the Charles River Esplanade in Boston. It’s a great use of the waterfront that’s scenic, great for people-watching, walking, biking, sitting on the dock, and catching a performance.”
