Scenic state park at the tip of Pittsburgh's golden triangle.
Located where the three rivers meet (Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio) at Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle, the park's gushing 150-foot-high water fountain has come to symbolize Pittsburgh. The park covers only 36 acres, but it's loaded with history. It's a National Historic Landmark, and home of the Fort Pitt Museum, which is housed in an original bastion of Fort Pitt. The annual Three Rivers Arts Festival, the Pittsburgh Marathon and the Three Rivers Regatta come to the park every year.
A bike and in-line skate trail blazes through the park. The park has a great panoramic vista of the city. Plenty of green space to spread a blanket or throw a Frisbee.
Makes a great impression it is spotless and highly maintained. There is a good mix of men and women that use the park. Lastly, the park is very safe.
Used widely by all.
This is a great place to take people to show off the city and relax in the great amenities.
