Econsult worked with Project for Public Spaces to analyze data on the expenditures of seven public markets and their vendors in communities across the country. These markets differed in terms of their scale, mix of vendors, and the local economies in which they are situated. The result is a tool that can be used as a basis for estimating the potential indirect and induced expenditures of specific types of public markets.
